This California Privacy Notice supplements the BidBuyNext Privacy Policy and describes information and privacy choices that may apply to California residents under applicable California privacy law.

Categories of Personal Information

Depending on how you use BidBuyNext, we may process identifiers and customer records such as name, email, phone number, address, account identifiers, and government-issued identification; commercial information such as bids, purchases, transaction records, and shipping information; internet or electronic activity such as IP address, browser information, session data, and security logs; and sensitive personal information when identity-verification information is required.

Purposes of Collection and Use

We use personal information to provide and secure the marketplace, verify users, administer bidding and purchases, prevent fraud, communicate with users, coordinate transaction documents, payment administration, shipping or delivery, provide support, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Personal information may be disclosed to service providers and transaction participants as reasonably necessary for hosting, communications, security, payment administration, shipping or transportation, professional services, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and completion of marketplace transactions.

Sale or Sharing Choices

California residents may use the Privacy Request page to submit a request concerning the sale or sharing of personal information, including a Do Not Sell or Share request where applicable. BidBuyNext will process applicable requests in accordance with California law.

Access, Correction and Deletion Requests

Subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements, California residents may request access to certain personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of certain information. We may request information necessary to verify the identity and authority of the person making the request.

Sensitive Personal Information

Identity-verification information is used for bidder verification, fraud prevention, transaction security, and legal compliance. BidBuyNext does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about users.

Non-Discrimination

BidBuyNext will not unlawfully discriminate against a user for exercising an applicable California privacy right.
