Shipping & Delivery

BidBuyNext coordinates shipping and delivery for vehicles and equipment sold through the marketplace. The exact shipping arrangement for each transaction depends on the listing, equipment type, pickup and delivery locations, carrier availability and any special handling requirements.

How Shipping Works

After a purchase or accepted bid moves into the transaction process, BidBuyNext coordinates the applicable shipping or pickup arrangement. Buyers receive transaction-specific information before the vehicle or equipment is released for transport.

1Transaction ConfirmedThe order, payment requirements and delivery terms are confirmed.
2Shipping ArrangedPickup and delivery requirements are coordinated based on the listing and route.
3Pickup ScheduledA pickup window is arranged once the transaction is cleared for release.
4DeliveryThe vehicle or equipment is transported to the agreed delivery location or made available for pickup.

Shipping Cost

Shipping terms are shown on each listing. Depending on the listing, shipping may be free, included or arranged as part of the transaction, or paid by the buyer.

  • Free Shipping: delivery is arranged under the shipping terms shown for that listing.
  • Shipping Included / Arranged: BidBuyNext coordinates the applicable delivery arrangement as part of the transaction.
  • Buyer Pays Shipping: the buyer is responsible for the stated shipping charge or a shipping quote provided for the transaction.

When a final shipping amount depends on the route or equipment requirements, the applicable quote is communicated before shipment is finalized.

Scheduling & Pickup

Shipping is scheduled after the transaction reaches the appropriate release stage. Pickup timing can depend on payment confirmation, vehicle or equipment location, carrier availability, route planning, access at the pickup location and any special loading requirements.

Pickup and delivery dates are coordinated as estimates or scheduled windows unless a specific commitment is provided for the individual transaction.

Vehicles, Trucks & Equipment

Different assets may require different transportation methods. Passenger vehicles and light trucks may use standard vehicle transport, while commercial trucks, trailers, farm machinery and heavy equipment may require specialized carriers, loading arrangements or additional route planning.

Oversized, non-running or unusually configured equipment may require additional coordination. Any known special handling requirements are addressed as part of the shipping arrangement.

Delivery & Receiving

The buyer or an authorized recipient should be available according to the agreed delivery arrangement. At delivery, the recipient should review the vehicle or equipment and the available delivery documentation before acknowledging receipt.

If there is a visible transportation-related concern at delivery, it should be documented promptly and reported through the transaction support process.

Local Pickup

Local or buyer-arranged pickup may be available when permitted for a specific listing. Pickup must be coordinated in advance. Vehicles and equipment are not released solely because a buyer arrives at a location; the transaction must first be cleared for release and the pickup arrangement confirmed.

Timing, Routes & Delays

Transit and scheduling times vary. Distance, weather, traffic, carrier availability, mechanical or loading requirements, access restrictions and other transportation conditions can affect pickup or delivery. BidBuyNext coordinates transaction updates when material scheduling information becomes available.
